Hi Ladies! Let's talk long term contraceptives. One of my amazing femal followers recently asked me about the pros and cons of the Mirena brand IUD. Although I am not a user of this device, I decided to share with you all some intersting information on the topic!

So an IUD or intrauterine device is a small, t-shaped piece of plastic inserted into the uterus to provide birth control. There are three types of IUDs that use the hormone progestin. Mirena, Skyla, and Liletta. Skyla is the smallest of the progestin IUDs.
